SHW Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH is one of the world's leading manufacturers of moving column machines and machining centers for the machining of large parts.

For our location in Aalen Wasseralfingen, we are looking for a committed and open-minded commissioning engineer (m/f/d) to complete our team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the configuration and commissioning of machine tools in the factory and at the customer's site.
• Running diagnostics and rectifying system faults and malfunctions to ensure optimum functionality.
• Completion of the systems in compliance with safety regulations and internal quality criteria.
• Commissioning of peripheral devices such as milling heads, rotary and turning tables, tool storage, etc.

Profile

• You have successfully completed training in the field of electrical engineering, professional experience in commissioning, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens, or Fanuc machine controls.
• Extensive knowledge in the field of control technology and automation of machine tools.
• Willingness to travel globally and good English skills.
• Independent, careful, and responsible working style.
