To meet the growing demand for AWS cloud computing capacity in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), we are now looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team.

Are you experienced in Critical Infrastructure Commissioning? As a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE), you will be part of a highly creative, efficient team tasked with building and supporting the operations of AWS data centers, Hybrid Colo's, Single Tennent Colo, and Multi Tennent Colo builds. The AWS Commissioning team (ACx) manages construction quality in accordance with engineering designs to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting vendors, contractors, and teams involved in construction and commissioning of systems such as:
• Medium and low voltage power systems
• Generators
• UPS
• HVAC
• Chilled Water Systems
• Building Management systems (BMS)
• Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
• Testing and balancing
• Pumps and Hydronic systems

The CxE will also review component submittals, lead Factory Witness Testing, perform system testing, and ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards. The role involves reporting, project management, and coordination across multiple projects.

Daily activities include:

• Developing commissioning standards
• Reviewing and creating commissioning scripts
• Organizing meetings and tracking project progress
• Performing site walks and managing third-party vendors
• Reviewing documentation and resolving coordination issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience related to mission-critical facilities or data center infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Commissioning experience
• Certification or training in NETA, ASHRAE, or commissioning courses

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in colocation data centers
• Experience with Procore, Facility Grid, CxAlloy, or similar software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Strong communication, organization, and stress management skills
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Ability to interpret construction documents
• Experience developing and executing test procedures
