POSITION SUMMARY

Our jobs aren’t just about mixing drinks. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down, but are constantly on the lookout for new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts, but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service broadly, using their knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly. They will build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and fulfill guests’ needs. Passion for guest service and attention to detail are essential, from handling money accurately to providing quality drinks and information to guests.

Critical to success are creating a safe workplace, following policies, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around, and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, including reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Performing these duties well is essential to delivering excellent guest service and supporting the business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None needed.
