Job Description
Our client is an established manufacturer of plastics for OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager for their operations in Germany.
Required Education and Experience
- MBA in business administration, finance, economy, or engineering
- 5+ years experience in the Automotive Industry
- 5+ years experience in Automotive Sales and Marketing, working directly with OEMs and Tier 1 Customers
- Active network with BMW, Stellantis, and Seat
- Knowledge of plastic-related markets is a plus
- Technical background in Injection Molding Production (drawing requirements, tolerances, materials, production processes, pricing methods)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM (Teams center Siemens), ERP (Priority)

Job Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts and manage existing strategic accounts
- Translate sales and marketing plans into actionable strategies
- Manage day-to-day activities of portfolio customers
- Identify new business opportunities and improve account profitability
- Coordinate with departments to meet customer performance expectations
- Act as the primary contact for pre- and post-sale activities with customers
- Participate in customer evaluations and manage RFQ activities
- Propose and present offers, lead negotiations, and manage customer meetings
- Lead annual price negotiations and claim management processes
- Monitor market competition and share for responsible accounts
