TGRC is looking for a Commercial PPA Director to work with an international renewable energy developer backed by a multi-billion fund for their Germany activities.

The client specializes in private-wire solar and battery projects and is seeking a professional to lead the origination, negotiation, and execution of private-wire PPAs.

The Role:

1. Identify, develop, negotiate, and secure a robust pipeline of PWPPA projects.
2. Develop a pipeline of industrial off-taker development opportunities.
3. Negotiate Heads of Term contracts for PWPPA, including leading the commercial design of a project according to off-taker requirements.
4. Manage relationships through to full PWPPA contract closure.
5. Develop international relationships with multi-national off-takers to enable cross-selling and portfolio opportunities.
6. Collaborate with the Head of Germany and CFO to influence and agree on the financial budget for all sales activities, ensuring activities stay within the budget.

The Individual:

• Proven track record in selling complex contractual products, with knowledge of PPA contracts and associated commercial levers.
• Understanding of negotiation principles and closing the 'right' deal. A strong network of industrial power users in Europe is advantageous.
• Understanding of Central European energy markets, including generation, transmission, and distribution, especially in Germany.
• Knowledge of renewable technologies (solar, wind, and energy storage) and their impact on PWPPA performance.
• Languages: Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
