About the role

• Analyse value contribution across from portfolio view.
• Perform benchmarks of RWE Generation SE portfolio vs. the market.
• Commercial interface to RWE Supply & Trading, analyse and challenge commercial strategies from a portfolio perspective.
• Identify optimization potential on a portfolio level and derive according measures.
• Analyse infrastructural / general cost and optimization potential.
• Interact with RWEG’s AI development for use in portfolio optimization.
• Moderate a technology-overarching fair cost valuation on potential conflicts.

Job requirements and experience

• Economic/technical education (university degree) as well as at least 3 years’ experience from working in the energy industry.
• Expertise in performing business evaluations under complex conditions.
• Profound experience in the power industry including plant operation & maintenance.
• Interpersonal skills in dealing with conflicting targets and convincing people.
• Fluent English; German and Dutch skills are an advantage but not essential.
