Qualifikationen

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, ensure commercial compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, collaborate on the management of key project contracts (e.g., construction contracts, service agreements, leases)
  • Being a main point of contact with authorities like municipality, landowners etc. to ensure all activities executed according to regulations and requirements by the law that entities subject to
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial and contractual risks in coordination with other departments (e.g., Legal & Compliance, Accounting & Financial Controlling)
  • Ensure alignment with Accounting and Business Controlling departments on invoicing, payment collections, and accounts payable, ensure regular payments (e.g. land lease, grid, regular invoices)
  • Ensure financial alignment with overall company goals during project development and operation phases, provide commercial insights for decision-making to internal stakeholders (e.g., Renewables LTM, project teams)
  • Serve as a liaison with the offtake department to support PPA execution and administration, including alignment on financial terms and performance tracking; identify and mitigate risks related to energy market fluctuations, contract terms, and operational incidents; coordinate closely with the offtake department to align on PPA terms, revenue forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Act as the central point of contact between Business Controlling, Accounting, and Energy Assets for commercial matters, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to align on financial and performance objectives
  • Contribute to the selection and implementation of tools/systems for commercial performance tracking and reporting, define and implement efficient processes for commercial management tasks
Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A technical background with strong commercial acumen could also be suitable
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial asset management, preferably in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind)
  • Solid understanding of renewable energy market regulations, compliance requirements, and subsidy mechanisms in Germany, UK, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, Italy, France
  • Proven experience in handling commercial contracts, particularly service agreements, supply contracts, and familiarity with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), understanding of key commercial terms and risk mitigation in contracts
  • Ability to interpret financial statements, assess KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Experience collaborating across departments, such as technical, financial, and legal teams
  • Strong negotiation skills for working on contracts and agreements
  • Attention to detail, precision in financial reporting, compliance oversight, and contract review; clear and concise communicator, capable of working with diverse teams and presenting commercial insights to senior management
