Job Summary:

• The primary focus is on commercial management oversight across Equinix’s major expansion construction projects throughout EMEA.
• The role involves working closely with internal project teams of varying seniority levels.
• It is expected to provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive down construction costs, ensure internal financial controls and reporting, and manage contract risks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets with detailed cost modeling, benchmarking, and present findings to senior management.
• Monitor adherence to budgets throughout project lifespan, including cost checks, reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Guide the development of requests for proposals for design services, owner-furnished equipment, and general contractor agreements.
• Oversee commercial change management and evaluation efforts on all projects.
• Review analytics related to project cash flow and earned value analysis.
• Manage financial close-out processes, including vendor settlements.
• Lead risk management efforts, including audits, contingency analyses, and training.
• Review project cost reports regularly with senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction, business, finance, or related fields.
• Experience in the data center industry is preferred.
• Attention to detail, with accurate input and proofreading skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
