This role involves leading the development of business strategies and plans to drive growth within our organization.

Key responsibilities include managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Develop comprehensive business plans for existing accounts to increase market share and revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with marketing, project management, and technical teams to ensure alignment and achieve sales objectives.
  • Manage and track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

The successful candidate will possess :

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in chemical or pharmaceutical development and / or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of technical, sales, project management, and / or business development experience.
  • Proven track record of success meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
  • Strong knowledge of selling skills and selling strategies, with experience in longer sales cycles (9 – 24 months).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science (Chemistry-related field), Business, Marketing, or related Technical degree.
  • Prior experience in creating business development plans and processes is highly desirable.
