Commercial Finance Manager (m / f / d)

in full time and permanent for our Headquarters in Düsseldorf.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to join our finance team. This role will be pivotal in partnering with the European Sales Director to provide financial insight and commercial guidance that will drive business growth across the region. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will utilise financial models, market analysis, and operational data to support decision-making in areas such as sales, business development, pricing strategies, marketing, and new product development.

• Business Partnering : Work closely with the European Sales Director to provide financial insight, drive performance improvements, and support strategic initiatives for the sales and business development teams
• Financial Analysis & Reporting : Analyse and interpret market, operational, statistical, and accounting data to provide actionable insights that drive informed business decisions
• Financial & Commercial Models : Develop and maintain financial and commercial models that support pricing strategies, product development, and overall sales performance, establishing Key Performance Indicators for the business and analysis of business results in relation to these KPI’s
• Marketing Controlling : Establish and manage marketing controlling processes to evaluate the financial effectiveness of marketing initiatives and their alignment with business objectives.
• Project Work : Lead and contribute to key projects aimed at enhancing financial and sales reporting, including the setup of world-class reporting tools (SAC) to enable next-level sales analysis
• Smart Pricing Introduction : Drive the introduction of smart pricing strategies, ensuring that pricing models are data-driven, aligned with market conditions, and contribute to business growth
• Leadership : Lead a team of three colleagues with clarity and care, inspiring and empowering them.

• smart? You have a degree in finance and have already gained several years of professional experience in a comparable finance role. You are able to connect the bigger picture to day-to-day operations of the sales organization and have the ability to simplify complex and detailed data into meaningful insights. Additionally, your Microsoft Office skills – especially in Excel and PowerPoint – are on an advanced level.
