Your Challenge

We seek an experienced Commercial Director (all gender) for our Mauritius portfolio, including:

• Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius
• Welnest (Apartments, Penthouses & Villas)
• Jacaranda (Villas)
• La Reserve (Apartments, Penthouses)

You will develop and execute the commercial strategy, oversee revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance brand reputation in Mauritius. The role requires strategic leadership in sales, marketing, revenue management, and business development, with a focus on results and strategic growth.

Objectives of the Role

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and build stakeholder relationships.
• Negotiate and close high-value deals.
• Manage the commercial budget and resources.
• Foster high performance and continuous improvement.
• Report on commercial performance and insights to senior management.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments.

Your Tasks

• Manage and mentor the commercial team.
• Conduct market research and analyze customer needs.
• Develop growth, sales, and marketing plans.
• Maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Prepare presentations and proposals.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies.
• Set pricing strategies for profitability.
• Collaborate with finance, business development, and operations.

Your Skills

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related.
• 10+ years in business development or commercial management.
• Experience in market analysis, strategic planning, revenue targets, and business growth.
• Understanding of market dynamics, sales strategies, and business development in the Indian context.
• Skills in market research, data analysis, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
• Multilingual in German, English, and French (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of markets like UK, DACH, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related.
• Certifications in Sales or Marketing (e.g., CSP, CIM).
• Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, and sales analytics.
• Financial forecasting and budget management skills.
