Commercial Account Executive, Growth (Remote, Germany)

Grafana Labs is looking for a Commercial Account Executive, Growth who will be responsible for prospecting and growing existing business across the DACH region. You will identify, nurture, and close opportunities with existing customers, manage forecasts, and track customer data. We advocate a consultative sales approach—understanding the customer's needs before discussing our products. Your expertise will be crucial in articulating the value of our offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Identify new opportunities to expand Grafana usage within current customers
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, meetings, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, account management)
  • Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  • Understand and convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
  • Manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce effectively
  • Handle quote creation, order processing, and customer requests daily
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure technology sales
  • A proven track record of achieving goals in a competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • Adaptability and experience in high-velocity tech companies
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Familiarity with open source technology is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication skills across all channels (in person, online, written) and ability to build strong relationships virtually and in person
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC methodologies is ideal

In Germany, the OTE compensation range for this role is EUR 140,000 - 175,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skills assessed during the interview. Benefits include equity, bonuses (if applicable), and other listed perks.
