Job Description:

Grafana Labs is looking for Commercial Account Executive who will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business across Eastern Europe. You will identify, nurture, and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts, and track customer data. We advocate a consultative sales approach—learning about the customer's needs before discussing products. Your expertise will be crucial in articulating the value of our products, working with customers during the trial phase, and transferring strong relationships to our Customer Success team. Ideally, you come from a technical background and have experience selling technical products.

Responsibilities

  1. Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals
  2. Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, meetings, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, and account management)
  3. Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  4. Understand and convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
  5. Manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce effectively
  6. Handle quote creation, order processing, and customer requests daily

Requirements

  1. At least 1 year of experience in infrastructure technology sales
  2. Located in Germany
  3. Proven track record of achieving goals in a competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  4. Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious team player
  5. Adaptable with experience in high-velocity tech companies
  6. Experience with Salesforce
  7. Familiarity with open source technology is a plus
  8. Excellent communication skills across all channels and ability to build strong relationships in person and virtually
  9. Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is preferred

In Germany, the OTE compensation range for this role is €140,000 - €180,000. Actual compensation varies based on experience and skills, as discussed during the interview. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and other listed perks. Compensation ranges are country-specific. Applicants from other locations will have their pay range and benefits discussed at the start of the process.
