ARPOSO Biotech is a purpose-driven startup developing natural edible coatings that extend the shelf life of fresh fruits and vegetables. Our solution addresses one of the world’s most urgent problems: Food and Plastic Waste .

Backed by the TUM Venture Labs and supported through different grants and innovation programs, we combine scientific excellence with entrepreneurial ambition. As we move from proof of concept to product and market, we’re looking for a Business Co-Founder to join our founding team and drive the business side of ARPOSO Biotech.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Co-Founder to help shape and scale ARPOSO Biotech from lab to market. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in defining strategy, securing funding, building strategic partnerships, and ultimately bringing a sustainable, science-driven solution to the world.

You will work side by side with the scientific founder(s), playing a critical role in company building, go-to-market strategies, and long-term growth.

Your Role & Impact

• Drivebusiness strategy, fundraising efforts (public and private), and investor relations
• Leadgo-to-marketplanning, product-market fit validation, and commercialization
• Build and manage keystrategic partnershipswith VCs, accelerators, and industry partners
• Design and implementscalable business operationsand internal structures
• Collaborate with the scientific team to align business and R&D objectives
• Represent ARPOSO Biotech externally at pitches, conferences, and networking events
• Shape company culture and help build a high-performing, impact-driven team

What You Bring

• Proven entrepreneurial mindset andleadership experience(e.g., startup, scale-up, or corporate innovation)
• Background inbusiness, finance management, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience withfundraising, VC relations, or grant acquisition
• A strong interest inbiotech, sustainability, and creating atangible, global impact
• Strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a bias toward execution
