Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
THE JOB – Cloud Technology Architect
You will work closely with a team of Architects and Consultants in the consulting practice. Your role involves:
- Participating in projects with delivery goals, elaborating solutions, and providing best practices on architectures and product technologies, whether based on on-premises, cloud (public or private), multicloud, or hybrid infrastructures.
- Acting as a generalist & Cloud Architect, specialized in design and delivery of Next-Gen Cloud Solutions, including:
- Conducting assessments and workshops with technical and business users to define and showcase the value of Oracle’s Cloud Stack.
- Collaborating with customers to deliver solutions that meet or exceed their requirements.
- Engaging with customers to ensure service needs are met and deliverables uphold Oracle’s high standards.
- Utilizing deep customer understanding to deliver competitive advantages.
- Demonstrating commercial acumen in customer engagements and advisories.
- Maintaining knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the evolving Cloud platform.
- Contributing to the internal community and sharing delivery experiences and collateral.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the product management team.

Key Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing solutions based on Cloud architectures (Private or public, OCI, AWS, Azure, Google).
- Good knowledge of Cloud Services design & delivery models: IaaS & PaaS.
- Database knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Interest in technology subjects such as Cloud, Virtualization & Grid.
- Professional work attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly and self-motivation.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and self-management skills.
- Experience in defining & implementing solutions from conceptual stages.
- Mobility within Germany and Austria; candidates should reside in these countries.
- Preferred locations: Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, or Vienna.
- Deep knowledge in areas such as OCI, OSC, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, network concepts, firewalls, VPNs, Gateways, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, migration, Enterprise Manager, resource management, virtualization, Linux.
Advantageous but not essential
- DevOps & Agile methodology experience.
