The Job – Cloud Technology Architect

You will collaborate with a team of Architects and Consultants, participating in projects, elaborating solutions, and providing best practices on architectures and product technologies, whether on-premises, cloud (public or private), multicloud, or hybrid infrastructures.

As a generalist & Cloud Architect specialized in Next-Gen Cloud Solutions, your responsibilities include:

1. Conducting assessments and workshops with technical and business users to demonstrate Oracle’s Cloud Stack value.
2. Working closely with customers to deliver solutions that meet or exceed their requirements.
3. Engaging with customers to ensure service needs are met and deliverables are of high quality.
4. Using customer insights to provide competitive advantages.
5. Advising customers with commercial acumen.
6. Maintaining knowledge of Oracle products and services in the evolving Cloud platform.
7. Contributing to the internal community and sharing delivery experiences.
8. Building strong relationships with the product management team.

Key Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing solutions based on Cloud architectures (OCI, AWS, Azure, Google).
• Knowledge of Cloud Services design & delivery: IaaS & PaaS.
• Database experience and hands-on skills.
• Interest in technology subjects like Cloud, Virtualization, & Grid.
• Professional attitude and quick learner.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and self-management skills.
• Experience in defining & implementing conceptual solutions.
• Mobility within Germany and Austria; preferred locations: Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Vienna.
• Deep knowledge in areas like OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, network, firewalls, VPN, Gateways, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, virtualization, Linux.

Additional Skills

• DevOps & Agile experience (advantageous).
• Results-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Fluency in German and good English skills.
