We are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to oversee and enhance information security practices within cloud environments. In this role, you will shape security strategies, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud solutions.

Your Responsibilities :

• Act as the process owner for information security governance in cloud environments, including the creation and enhancement of security guidelines, standards, and best practices for cloud deployments.
• Develop and implement cloud security strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments by evaluating vulnerabilities and threats in cloud infrastructures.
• Review cloud architectures, provide guidance to operational teams for further development, and establish and maintain control processes.
• Perform or support audits and certifications, with a focus on cloud security.
• Collaborate with monitoring and defence teams to develop concepts for cloud monitoring and incident response activities and oversee their implementation.
• Advise employees on information security topics, particularly regarding cloud security requirements, and promote awareness across the organisation.
• Support the adoption of new IT applications and actively participate in information security projects and initiatives.

Requirements :

• A degree in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications such as IT specialist training.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, information security, and / or IT infrastructure; professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS) and experience with technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Fluent in both German and English , with excellent communication skills in spoken and written form.
• Willingness to travel as part of the role.
• Independent, proactive, and committed work ethic with a strong ability to assert ideas and collaborate effectively.
