Job Description:

What you'll do:

1. Support the setup of a managed Kubernetes platform based on Gardener and OpenStack.
2. Take responsibility for the surrounding system landscape (compute, networking, storage, APIs).
3. Automate technical processes and continuously optimize them.
4. Perform problem and error analyses and identify sustainable solutions.
5. Design scaling solutions to enhance our platform.

What you'll need:

1. Passion and conviction for Kubernetes, Linux, and OpenStack technologies.
2. Good knowledge of developing, deploying, and running Kubernetes applications.
3. Advanced programming experience, preferably in Go.
4. Experience with templating (Helm, Kustomize) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi).
5. Basic experience with Kubernetes operator pattern, Software-Defined Networking (Istio, Calico), and CI/CD tools (Git, Concours, Flux).
6. Proficiency in English, ideally paired with German, for effective communication in international teams.
