What you can expect

• You are responsible for the conception, setup, and operation of cloud-based services using modern container, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.
• You work with Azure Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Kafka, Grafana, Instana, API Gateway, OPA Gatekeeper, Keycloak, and cloud-native Postgres databases, and use various (security) tools to scan our code.
• Additionally, you integrate new technologies and products into the DKV cloud infrastructure and ensure their functional integration.
• You develop additional software components and integration systems using agile methodologies.
• In doing so, you create functional and technical requirement descriptions and collaborate closely with your team.
• You ensure the stable operation of our cloud infrastructure, continuously focusing on scalability, maintainability, stability, and security of our services.
• Furthermore, you monitor the productive processes and services of our cloud infrastructure and ensure their recovery in case of failure.
• You support and train the software development teams, continuously optimize existing solutions, and evaluate new technologies.

What makes you stand out

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• You have relevant professional experience in cloud engineering, particularly with a focus on Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Relevant professional certifications in cloud technology or architecture are a plus.
• You are a talented communicator and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• Your fluent German skills are complemented by very good English skills.
