Picture yourself crafting, refining, and meticulously testing new platform features, all while contributing to our Infrastructure as Code initiatives using CloudFormation. Your unwavering commitment to quality and security will ensure that every line of code meets the highest standards.

You'll be an integral part of the AWS Telco Team, an agile group with the autonomy to shape the platform for users across Telefónica - priorities are set by the users and the team to drive the best solutions.

What to expect

• Conceptualizing, developing, and testing innovative platform features as Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation) within the development team, while strictly adhering to the highest quality and security standards.
• Ensuring code stability through continuous pull requests and the application of established software engineering processes within the team.
• Actively enhancing automated integration and deployment tests for smooth development and deployment workflows.
• Designing and implementing components for the AWS Telco Landing Zone, with particular consideration of specific requirements of the telecommunications industry such as scalability, latency, redundancy, and security.
• Close collaboration with stakeholders, architects, product owners, and the security department to implement and ensure user-centric requirements.
• Participation in the developer community to standardize development methodologies across various teams and promote best practices.

What you bring

• You have completed a university degree or equivalent education in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in IT/cloud development and testing.
• Your AWS certifications validate your skills as a cloud developer.
• You possess excellent knowledge of CloudFormation for the development of cloud infrastructures.
• You have outstanding skills in designing and developing test automations. Ideally, you have obtained the ISTQB certification.
• You are fluent in English, with knowledge of German being advantageous.
