One of our customers in the banking industry are looking for an experienced Database Engineer to join their team to support their migration from an on-premise system into AWS. This role is joining a new team of 12 people who are responsible for migrating their current banking system and the database team who are migrating an internal Postgres to Postgres database. The role can be done 100% remotely, but you must already be based in Germany.

• Experience in Postgres, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience working on cloud databases (AWS RDS).
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and / or Ansible).
• Experience building CI / CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Strong experience working with AWS Aurora and RedShift.
• Bonus points for previous migration projects (ideally on-premise to cloud).
