Your profile with a passion for aviation:
- Experience:7+ years in cloud engineering or IT infrastructure roles, with 3+ years in a cloud architecture position designing enterprise-scale environments
- Cloud Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred), with additional experience in AWS and/or GCP; confident managing hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems
- Infrastructure Engineering:Strong expertise in networking, IAM, VPC design, serverless platforms (e.g., Azure Functions, Lambda) and containerized deployments (e.g., AKS, GKE, EKS)
- Automation & IaC: Proficient with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates—able to build modular, reusable and compliant infrastructure components
- DevOps Integration:Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, artifact repositories and deployment strategies that support automated, auditable cloud operations
- Security First:Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, encryption, key management and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOC2)
- Communication & Influence:Strong ability to communicate architectural decisions, align stakeholders and drive cross-team adoption of cloud best practices
- Languages: Business-fluent english skills and a good command in german both written and spoken
Your future tasks:
- Infrastructure Design:Architect and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure to support Condor’s data, analytics, and business applications across Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Standardization & Governance:Define and enforce architecture principles, reusable patterns, and platform standards that ensure consistency, security, and operational excellence across all teams
- Cloud Modernization:Lead the migration of legacy systems into modern cloud-native stacks—optimizing for automation, maintainability and long-term scalability
- Cross-functional Collaboration:Partner with data engineering, analytics, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into infrastructure solutions that meet performance, governance, and compliance needs
- Optimization & Reliability: Monitor cloud usage, performance, and reliability across environments; implement observability, autoscaling, and cost-efficiency practices
- Security & Compliance:Ensure cloud platforms meet enterprise-grade security standards—driving IAM design, encryption policies, access control, and alignment with data privacy regulations
