Cloud Architect & Advisor (f/m/d) for RISE with SAP in MEE

What you’ll do

As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the technical foundation of RISE with SAP engagements. Your mandate spans the initial sales cycle, change requests, and renewal events related to S/4HANA private cloud architecture. You will advise customers and internal teams on SAP’s private cloud offerings, assess the technical feasibility of requirements, and translate these into landscape designs. These landscapes are then handed over to our delivery teams for system provisioning.

What you bring

• High proficiency in customer communication and presentation
• 5+ years of customer-facing experience
• Expertise in the operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment
• Good understanding of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recovery is a plus
• Understanding of the platform stack (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.)
• Knowledge of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
• SAP HANA and S/4HANA skills are advantageous
• Cybersecurity & compliance expertise is a plus
• Self-sufficient worker and strong team player
• Affinity for technical topics, willingness to learn, and ability to tackle outside your comfort zone
• Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus

The Cloud Architecture & Advisory team is part of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization, which develops the S/4HANA Private Cloud portfolio to meet customer needs and manages most RISE landscapes.

The team comprises highly motivated, customer-focused professionals who validate the technical feasibility of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud deals during presales and serve as trusted advisors post-signature. This ensures landscapes meet customer requirements and promotes SAP’s cloud adoption.
