Talantir is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect in Germany to design secure, scalable cloud platforms aligned with business needs and application requirements.

You will own landing zones, select services, ensure governance, security, and cost optimisation, and collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams.

This role offers technical leadership, architecture sign-off, and the opportunity to shape modernisation programs across the business.

Formación

• Experience designing secure, scalable AWS architectures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into AWS designs.
• Proven track record in landing zone design and governance.
• Strong documentation and design sign-off capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Define AWS architecture for new builds, migrations and modernisation.
• Translate requirements into target AWS designs.
• Lead landing zone design (accounts, IAM, networking, security, governance).
• Select services and reference architectures; ensure security and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural sign-off.

Primary Objective

Design, govern, and evolve secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient AWS cloud architectures aligned to business and application requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Define AWS cloud architecture for new builds, migrations, and modernisation programsTranslate business and non‑functional requirements into target AWS designsOwn landing zone design (accounts, IAM, networking, security, governance)Select appropriate AWS services (IaaS, PaaS, serverless) and define reference architecturesEnsure architecture aligns to security, resilience, performance, and cost‑optimisation principlesCollaborate with application, network, security, and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutionsProvide technical leadership, design assurance, and architectural sign‑off.

Core Skills / Technologies

• AWS core services: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ELB, Auto Scaling
• Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation / Terraform)
• Security and governance: IAM, logging, monitoring, compliance controls
• Cloud migration patterns, HA/DR design, and cost optimisation
• Strong stakeholder communication and design documentation skills
