Job Title: Cloud and EDGE Monitoring Specialist (f/m/d)

As a Cloud and EDGE Monitoring Specialist (f/m/d), you will be at the forefront of our efforts to optimize application landscapes, metric-based monitoring, and data management in cloud, EDGE, and data center operations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage applications, automate and monitor operational services, handle deployment, inventory, asset, and configuration management.
2. Develop and operate monitoring landscapes and configuration management systems to automate processes.
3. Consult on monitoring topics and establish services for production (OT) and IoT environments.
4. Utilize latest technologies, including AI, primarily developing in Python.
5. Implement DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
6. Design scalable environments supporting OnPrem, Cloud, and EDGE.
7. Ensure compliance with quality standards, SLAs, KPIs, and IT security.
8. Coordinate IT landscape changes and proactively improve processes.
9. Work independently, acting as the central contact point for issues.
10. Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including training.

You excel in

1. Education: Bachelor in computer science or equivalent with experience in data center or cloud operations.
2. Experience & Skills: Strong in metric-based monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), Data and Log management, REST-API, Python; 3-5 years in systems administration, databases, IT operations; familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
3. Ways of working: Interested in ensuring operational automation, experienced in IT projects, open to international teamwork and on-call duties.
4. Languages: Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
