Job Title: Closing & Reporting Analyst

Location: Cologne

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated Closing & Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic EMEA Reporting team. In this role, you will ensure the preparation and quality of quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB. You will also support the preparation of Group consolidated accounts and various local reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly financial reporting under IFRS.
• Prepare local statutory (HGB) reporting and annual financial statements.
• Compile monthly National Bank and regulator reports.
• Support external and internal audits.
• Assist the EMEA Reporting team with analytical reviews and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives.
• Participate in various finance projects as needed.

Your Profile:

• Experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of accounting and reporting standards, particularly HGB and IFRS.
• Experience with Solvency 2 or other local/international reporting standards is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Team player with a proven ability to support change and improvements within a finance organization.
• Interest in working in an international and diverse environment.

Education:

• Commercial education or a suitable finance degree (e.g., Certified Accountant).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or equivalent.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English and German (both oral and written).
