Duties:- Serves as Psychologist for the Regional Medical Center (RMC) and subordinate Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) or Army Health Care Clinics (AHC).
- Makes behavioral health diagnoses as appropriate.
- Evaluates and delivers crisis intervention services for children, teenagers, and family members experiencing atypical psychological stressors.
- Performs biopsychosocial evaluations, using expert knowledge of general and specific concepts, principles, procedures, and practices relating to psychological counseling.
- Evaluates clinical records and monitors all administration and scoring for quality assurance.
- Provides expert consultation on evidence-based psychosocial practices for children and adolescents, to include complex clinical presentations requiring integrated, collaborative care.

- This position requires regular contact with children under the age of 18 and a favorable determination of suitability to do so and periodic re-verification check of multiple agency records.
- This position requires the incumbent to successfully complete and maintain credentialing and privileging requirements.
- This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
- This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 5% of the time away from your permanent duty station.

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics):Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: performing psychological evaluations of children and adolescents, developing behavioral health treatment plans, and providing psychological counseling services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
