Job Title: Clinical Application Specialist SUD-DACH

Location: South Germany or Switzerland (remote with travel)

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a clinically minded professional to support the adoption and effective use of an innovative surgical visualization platform across key hospitals and surgical centers in South Germany and Switzerland.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to provide expert-level clinical education, case support, and product demonstrations. While not a direct sales role, you will play a critical part in enabling the commercial team by ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and user satisfaction during evaluations, implementations, and ongoing use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for hospital staff during product evaluations, training, and go-lives.
  • Provide in-theatre case support and guidance to surgeons and clinical staff, ensuring correct usage and best practices.
  • Deliver structured training sessions tailored to varying levels of clinical experience.
  • Act as a bridge between the clinical users and internal teams, relaying feedback to product development, marketing, and sales.
  • Support regional commercial teams by attending conferences, workshops, and product demonstrations from a clinical perspective.
  • Maintain a high standard of technical knowledge related to the product and its surgical applications.
  • Assist with the coordination of clinical evaluations and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Clinical background preferred such as OR nurse, surgical technician
  • Previous experience supporting surgical teams in a medical device or hospital setting.
  • Comfortable in the operating theatre environment with strong knowledge of surgical workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with medical professionals.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across South Germany and Switzerland (up to 60%).
  • Fluency in German and professional English required.
