The Role

Are you a medical physicist looking to transition from a hospital or clinical setting into the medical technology industry?

We are seeking a Clinical Application Physicist to provide expert clinical support and training to customers in hospitals and cancer centres in the EMEA region.

This role involves bridging the gap between medical technology and clinical practice, helping healthcare professionals optimize the use of our advanced solutions in patient care.

This is a full-time position based in Germany. The candidate will work largely remotely, requiring a dedicated home-office space and the ability to travel regularly (up to 60%) to hospitals and clinics within the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to customer product inquiries via telephone, email, or chat sessions.
• Resolving customer concerns related to operation, maintenance, product application, or compatibility.
• Demonstrating expert technical product knowledge with strong interpersonal skills during daily customer interactions.
• Providing on-site support during installation, training, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Acting as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Collaborating with clinical physicists to deliver customized technical training as needed.
• Identifying customer needs and coordinating internal resources for resolution.
• Applying a broad skill set including mechanical, electrical, networking, software, and physics processes.
• Providing product feedback and working with global teams to align on best practices.
• Attending conferences and trade shows as required.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

• BSc. or MSc. in Medical Physics, Dosimetry, or a related discipline.
• Clinical experience in Radiation Therapy is advantageous.
• Technical training/support experience in a professional or academic environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
• Strong technical aptitude, familiarity with web-based applications, and comfort with learning new technologies.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Based in the Netherlands.
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory; French and Dutch are advantageous.
