What you'll be doing

We are seeking a passionate Client Manager (m/f/d) Utilities / KRITIS (Critical Infrastructure) to drive the strategic alignment for NTT's largest and most engaged clients and help turn their business visions into reality.

As a global IT service provider, we think and act locally. Our clients and partners include renowned energy providers, grid operators, and large regional municipal utilities. With a specialized team of presales, technical experts, and key vendors, you will engage with clients and assist in implementing their specific IT strategies.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Expanding well-known accounts in the energy and grid operator sectors (EVU, grid operators / TSO) and large regional municipal utilities.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle: identifying needs, negotiating offers, and closing contracts.
  • Balancing hunting and farming activities.
  • Structuring account plans together with our solution sales colleagues.
  • Enhancing the brand awareness of “NTT Germany Utilities” (e.g., through organizing and hosting customer events).
  • Maintaining vendor/partner networks.
  • Closing framework agreements.
  • Focusing on marketing our core products in network integration, security, unified collaboration, contact center, and data center, tailored to companies in the energy sector and critical infrastructures.
  • Developing customer-specific solutions with departments and presenting concepts to clients.
  • Positioning NTT as a reliable advisor and partner in digital transformation.
What you bring to the table
  • A commercial or comparable qualification.
  • Experience in IT sales, ideally within energy providers, service providers, media, or related fields like network solutions, unified collaboration, data centers, or IT security.
  • Ideally, your own network within the customer environment and/or with partners like Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, ALE, Checkpoint, MS, Splunk, F5, ServiceNow, etc.
  • A structured approach combined with meticulous, result-oriented work.
  • Strong MS Office skills, preferably with knowledge of Salesforce.com.
  • Must have: Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Optional: Experience with tenders, participation and negotiation procedures, and public procurement processes.
