Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS compliance and execute tasks in accordance with ASiG §6
• Maintain existing EHS systems and ensure their continuous improvement
• Conduct regular internal and external audits
• Develop an EHS management system that complies with international and national standards (, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000) and laws
• Work with local authorities, such as accident insurers, safety regulatory bodies, and environmental agencies
• Guide departments in identifying risks related to environmental, health, and safety
• Drive the implementation of improvements, such as conducting safety checks in offices, steering risk assessments, creating emergency plans, and executing drills to verify their effectiveness
• Organize training for employees on EHS aspects as needed

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Electronics, or a related field from a University or University of Applied Science
• Necessary certification as a Safety Engineer or equivalent
• Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety management
• Understanding of the semiconductor industry and clean room environment
• Willingness to cooperate and participate in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German and / or Chinese is a plus
• Ability to effectively cooperate and participate in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams
