Zusammenfassung

MSIG Europe SE in Köln sucht eine/n Claims Specialist Property/Engineering (m/f/d). Sie bearbeiten umfassend Schadenfälle im Bereich Property/Engineering, prüfen Abdeckung, koordinieren internationale Vergleichs- und Subrogationsverfahren und arbeiten eng mit Partnern weltweit zusammen.

Sie bringen ein abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine fachliche Qualifikation im Versicherungswesen mit, haben idealerweise Erfahrung im Schadenmanagement, starke Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium oder gleichwertige Qualifikation im Versicherungswesen oder Rechts-/WBA-Umfeld.
• Erste bis mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Versicherungsbranche, idealerweise Schadenmanagement.
• Wesentliche Kenntnisse in Property-/Engineering-Versicherungen.
• Ausgeprägte Lernbereitschaft, Kundenorientierung und Teamfähigkeit.
• Ausgeprägte Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2).
• MS 365-Kenntnisse erforderlich.

Aufgaben

• Umfassendes Schadenmanagement in Property/Engineering inkl. Prüfung von Deckung und Haftung.
• Feststellung des Sachverhalts, Schadensaufnahme und Prüfung von Schadenberichten.
• Entwicklung von Lösungsansätzen und internationale Vergleichs-/Subrogationsverfahren.
• Dokumentation, Berichte und Statistik, inklusive Workshops mit Partnern.
• Unterstützung bei Prozessanalysen, Audits und Loss Mitigation.
• Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Partnern und Rechtsstreitigkeiten begleiten.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for support at the earliest possible date for our German branch based in Cologne:

Claims Specialist Property/Engineering (m/f/d)

Main tasks

• Comprehensive Claims Management (processing and settlement of claims) in Business Interruption and other Property Insurance as well as all technical classes of insurance, according to the existing policies and claims authority limits:
• Establishing the facts including loss inspection and review of loss reports.
• Examination, evaluation and representation of coverage and liability situation.
• Development of appropriate claim resolution.
• International settlement negotiations.
• Initiation and conduct of international recoveries / subrogation claims.
• Guidance and monitoring of international claims related court proceedings.
• Structured and transparent document management.
• Production and processing of statements of account in co-insurance and re-insurance business.
• Support for process analyses and optimization.
• Support for conduct of claims audits.
• Support for loss mitigation/prevention measures.
• Evaluation of risks based on claims experience.
• Reporting.
• Preparation and communication/presentation of claims statistics / claims topics.
• Organisation of workshops with claims partners for Claims and Underwriting.
• Special tasks (e.g. projects, preparation/editing of work instructions for claims processing).

Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Insurance, Business Administration, Engineering, or Law; alternatively, a professional qualification as an Insurance Specialist or completion of vocational training as an Insurance and Financial Services Professional.
• Initial to several years of professional experience in the insurance industry, ideally in Claims Management.
• Knowledge of Property and/or Engineering insurance lines
• Practical experience in Property and/or Engineering claims management is an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Strong customer focus and service orientation.
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1) and good English language skills (minimum B2).
• Team player with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Interest in sustainable and responsible business practices.
• Strong decision-making skills and negotiation abilities.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style with a high level of self-motivation and resilience.
• Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
• Commercial awareness and a business-oriented mindset.
