Trocknerheld is a forward-thinking company operating in the craft and trades sector employing >100 people, dedicated to delivering top-quality services to our clients. To streamline our operations and meet growing technological demands, we are seeking an innovative and hands-on CTO. This individual will drive the transformation of our existing software landscape, oversee the development of new features within our in-house platform, and spearhead the integration of various tools and systems.


Aufgaben
  • Software Consolidation: Reduce the number of different software solutions currently in use, ensuring a more unified, efficient, and cost-effective tech stack. System Integration: Create and optimize interfaces between existing tools and platforms to facilitate smooth data flow and reduce manual overhead.
  • In-house Platform Development: Lead the ongoing development and maintenance of our custom-built order management system (React/MySQL), expanding its functionality and ensuring stability.
  • New Portal Implementations: Develop and implement a service provider portal as well as a customer login portal to streamline business processes and improve user experience.
  • Technical Leadership & Strategy: Define the company’s long-term technology roadmap, making strategic decisions around architecture, security, and scalability. Team & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and leadership, to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software development, applying them to improve our products and services.

Qualifikation
  • Technical Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in senior leadership or strong contributions to software development projects. Ideally, you have overseen or significantly contributed to the successful development of portals or large-scale applications (React/MySQL background is a plus).
  • Hands-On Expertise: Strong knowledge of web technologies, databases (MySQL), and front-end frameworks (React). Experience with other tools in the modern tech stack is a bonus.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead tech projects from conception to production, including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Problem-Solving: Adept at analyzing complex issues and providing clear, structured solutions.
  • AI: Curiosity or experience with AI and machine learning, plus a willingness to explore how AI-driven features can enhance our products and workflows.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Prior experience building and managing development teams is an advantage, with a passion for fostering growth in junior talent.
