The Role: Chief Growth Officer

We’re now entering an exciting new phase of growth and are looking for a Chief Growth Officer to join our Leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to build and scale a modern e-commerce growth engine from scratch, working directly with the two founders to shape the business and its trajectory.

As our Chief Growth Officer, you will take full ownership of digital customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You’ll manage and optimize the entire D2C growth funnel.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Has successfully scaled D2C ecommerce brands before
  • Is strategic but hands-on, ready to build and test quickly in a lean startup environment
  • Brings analytical diligence and an entrepreneurial mindset

What You'll Do

  • Define and lead the end-to-end growth strategy for ecommerce (D2C focus)
  • Set and track performance KPIs: CAC, ROAS, LTV, CVR, churn, and revenue goals
  • Own the growth roadmap and monthly trajectory: where are we vs. targets? What's the gap?
  • Explore, test, and scale new marketing & sales channels

Acquisition & Conversion

  • Oversee and check in on key channels daily (Meta, Google, Amazon FBA, Influencer)
  • Continuously optimize paid ads together with agencies/freelancers: Meta, Google, TikTok
  • Hire a stellar Head of Influencer to lead all influencer marketing efforts
  • Lead and scale our Amazon FBA channel
  • Continuously optimize our shop performance with focus on conversion rate

Analytics & Execution

  • Own dashboards, tools, and reporting across growth KPIs
  • Use tools like Shopify, Notion, Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Amazon Seller Central, Storyclash, TikTok, WhatsApp
  • Actively run experiments, track ROI, and share learnings cross-functionally
  • First point of contact for performance ads agencies and freelancers

Your Profile

Must-Have

  • 5+ years experience in growth, performance marketing, and influencer marketing
  • Proven track record scaling D2C brands in ecommerce with a hands-on attitude
  • Fluent with growth tools & platforms (Meta, Google, Amazon)
  • Strong analytical skills & commercial acumen
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strategic thinker who can also do the work

Bonus

  • Fluent in multiple EU markets' growth nuances
  • Worked in a small <15 person startup environment
  • Experience with partnerships or offline channels
  • Experience with cross-brand collaborations
