Position Summary:
As the Chief Digital & Technology Officer, you will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for shaping and delivering the digital, data, and technology vision of a Fortune 500 insurance, financial services and asset management company. You will drive innovation across digital platforms, customer experiences, core systems, and data architecture, ensuring the business remains competitive in an increasingly tech-driven industry. This role combines business acumen, technical expertise, and change leadership to modernize operations, scale digital channels, and accelerate the company’s transformation agenda globally.
You will be tasked with the innovation driving change and excellence globally with partners and implementing systems data and new strategies for communication platforms and consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and execute a future-forward digital and technology strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Serve as the technology advisor to the CEO and Board, translating tech trends into actionable business opportunities.
- Present forward thinking and leading agile innovation to shareholders and investors.
- Champion enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and innovation.
Technology & Platform Transformation
- Oversee modernization of legacy systems, core insurance platforms, and cloud migrations.
- Lead enterprise architecture, infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, and IT operations across global markets.
- Promote scalable, secure, and agile technology delivery models (DevOps, microservices, APIs).
Digital & Data Innovation
- Drive the design and deployment of omni-channel digital platforms (mobile, web, agent portals).
- Lead AI, machine learning, data science, and analytics initiatives to enable real-time decision-making and personalized offerings.
- Develop new digital products and ecosystems in partnership with underwriting, claims, and customer service.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Establish world-class cybersecurity frameworks and data privacy standards.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and resilience against operational and cyber threats.
- Implement and execute strategies across emerging markets
People, Culture & Change
- Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional digital and tech teams.
- A leader who can communicate and build new methods of thinking and agile change
- A disruptive mindset with a proven track record of underwriting data development
- Embed a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a visible change agent to drive digital adoption across internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, digital strategy, or innovation, preferably within insurance, financial services, or adjacent regulated industries.
- Ideally a track record within a top tier strategy or consulting firm at Partner level
- Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformations in complex, global environments.
- Strong understanding of insurance value chains (underwriting, claims, policy admin), InsurTech trends, and regulatory landscapes.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, data platforms, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, AI/ML, and customer-centric digital design.

Preferred Credentials:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Digital, Business, or related field.
- MBA or executive education from a top-tier institution is a plus.
- A consulting background
- Certifications in cloud, data, or cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, CISSP, TOGAF).
