As pioneers in the biotechnological production of Ectoin, we have successfully promoted its global use in high-quality cosmetics and care products for years. To strengthen our team, we are immediately seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager - Cosmetic Active Ingredients (m/f/d).

Role Overview

Are you experienced in the cosmetics industry, passionate about innovative active ingredients, and skilled in strategic and persuasive communication? Do you want to actively contribute to the success of Ectoin while managing international partners and key accounts?

Your Responsibilities

1. Sales & Key Account Management: Responsible for sales and marketing activities with our global distribution partners in the cosmetics (Personal Care) sector, including managing select high-revenue direct customers (Key Accounts).
2. Client Training: Conduct regular training sessions for our sales teams on product features, sales strategies, and application possibilities of our active ingredients.
3. Marketing & Communication: Support the marketing team in creating targeted content like product documentation, brochures, and presentations. Write scientific articles for trade magazines and present at national and international trade fairs and conferences.
4. Market Strategy: Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to develop growth strategies for our active ingredients.
5. Trade Fairs & Representation: Represent the company at major international trade fairs, seminars, and conferences, establishing new contacts and maintaining existing relationships.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as Logistics, Production, Quality Control, Finance, and Marketing to ensure smooth implementation of customer projects and strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Natural Sciences, preferably Chemistry or Biology.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the Cosmetics & Personal Care sector, ideally with active ingredients or fine chemicals.
