Qualifikationen

Recently opened since September 2023, Fotografiska Berlin is set inside a unique historic and cultural landmark and is home to a diverse mix of world-class art, vibrant cultural programming, and exceptional dining experiences. The venue spans 5,500 square meters, with ongoing renovations to preserve its cultural heritage.

The Role

Our Chef de Partie plays a key role in maintaining culinary excellence across the business, helping to define and uphold the high standards of the Verōnika Restaurant & Bar culinary program. Reporting directly to the Verōnika Chef de Cuisine and Fotografiska Executive Chef, this role oversees all culinary operations to deliver high-quality, seasonal, sustainable, innovative, and wellness-focused menus. Candidates should have leadership experience in high-volume, concept-driven kitchens and a passion for diverse cuisines and culturally responsive menus.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of Lead Line Cook experience or similar in concept-driven kitchens.
  • Responsible for preparing all food items, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Train, develop, and mentor team members, maintaining recipes, portion sizes, and standards.
  • Follow recipes precisely, minimize waste, and ensure quality of raw materials.
  • Prepare and present food accurately and promptly, especially during peak times.
  • Maintain recipes and techniques to ensure high quality and control food costs.
  • Contribute to seasonal and private event menus.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and service staff.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations with a focus on guest and employee experience.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and company policies, including HACCP standards.
  • Be present in the kitchen during prime service times and participate in team trainings.
