Mandarin Oriental, Munich is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the Matsuhisa Munich team, delivering state-of-the-art culinary experiences for our guests. You will report to the Chef de Cuisine and work across shifts, contributing to menu development, mise en place and strict HACCP standards.

Fluency in German or English is required; prior experience in a similar environment is valued to join our MO family.

About The Job

Based Mandarin Oriental, Munich, the Chef de Partie is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experiences for our guests. The Chef de Partie reports to the Chef de Cuisine.

As Chef de Partie, you will responsible for the following duties

• ensure that our offerings are stylish, thoughtful, surprising and delivered with attention to detail
• works well in all service shifts
• learns and records skills and recipes
• follows and enforces cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures
• prepares relevant mise en place
• supports culinary management in developing new menus
• assists with ordering and stockkeeping
• assisting other colleagues
