We are expanding, and we are looking for a Chartering Broker to join our team either in Bergen or Hamburg.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain a strong market overview and identify new opportunities, client developments, and trends in terms, conditions, and rates.
• Manage your own client portfolio within the short-sea bulk and project cargo segments, including financial results, target setting, and performance reporting.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on long-term contract offers.
• Negotiate contracts and shipping terms with brokers, charterers, and agents (including port charges).
• Provide the Operations team with all necessary information to ensure concluded freight agreements are executed accurately and in compliance with established internal procedures and systems.
• Contribute to the strategic development of Peak CSL Group’s shipping activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor of Arts/shipping (or equivalent); relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• 3–5 years of experience within the bulk or project cargo segments.
• Strong commercial background from the shipping industry.
