A leading IT services provider is seeking a freelance Change Manager to support a business-critical ERP (SAP) migration programme in Essen. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site , working closely with operational and business teams across Europe. Fluency in German and English (C1 / C2) is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Change Manager with a track record in ERP transformations and stakeholder engagement to play a pivotal role in a pan-European project.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and deliver change strategies supporting the transition to SAP, including new processes and organisational impacts
  • Assess the impact of change on Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), and Order-to-Cash (OTC) teams
  • Lead communications to ensure clear understanding of the rationale and benefits behind the ERP migration
  • Coordinate and contribute to training programmes, ensuring staff are equipped to adopt new systems and processes
  • Coach business leaders on supporting their teams through organisational change
  • Act as the key liaison between the German operation and central teams in the UK and Europe

Your Profile :

  • Proven experience in ERP-related change management
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Background in business, psychology, or organisational development is advantageous
  • Fluent in German and English (C1 / C2 level)

This role offers a day rate of €800–900 and a contract with long-term potential.
