Sie arbeiten in einem dynamischen Team an der Validierung von Lebensdauer, Zuverlässigkeit und Sicherheit moderner Zellen und tragen zur ständigen Verbesserung der Prüfprozesse bei.

Qualifikationen

• Technische Ausbildung wünschenswert.
• Erfahrung mit Zell-/Batterietests von Vorteil.
• Sorgfalt und Fokus bei präzisen Messungen.
• Bereitschaft zur Arbeit mit Gefahrstoffen unter PPE.

Aufgaben

• Eigenständige Durchführung von Zelltests mit spez. Geräten.
• Testvorbereitung (Instrumentation, Charging) nach SOPs.
• Zerstörende Teardowns dokumentieren und Ergebnisse berichten.
• Hohe Durchsatz- und Datenqualität sicherstellen.
• Ausstattung aufbauen, kalibrieren und prüfen.
• SOPs, Standards, Laboreinrichtungen pflegen und aktualisieren.
• Arbeiten mit Gefahrstoffen unter PPE; Tests im Labor.
• Weitere Aufgaben nach Bedarf.

What to Expect

Tesla's CellQualification and AbuseTestteams are looking for skilled and motivated Cell TestTechnicians. The teams' missions are to validate lifetime, reliability and safety performance of cells against requirements and standards. The team thus contributes to design and product validations. What You’ll Do

• Perform cell tests independently using specialized equipment, fixtures, environmental test chambers and data loggers and according to SOPs and internal standards.
• Perform test preparation activities (e.g. instrumentation, charging).
• Perform destructive teardowns for root-cause analysis. Documenting findings and report outcomes.
• Maintain high test throughput/efficiency and data quality.
• Build, assemble, commission equipment and tests (as needed).
• Own organizational tasks & responsibilities like creation & maintenance of procedures, SOPs, standards, equipment, inspections, lab commissioning, facilities, maintenance and staff trainings.
• Tasks require work with hazardous materials using mandated PPE and to set up and perform tests in person and in lab environments.
• Other tasks as required.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment with new technologies, equipment and processes.
• Ability to perform repetitive and standardized work with high reliability and attention to detail on complicated systems is a "must have". Additional preferred skills:
• Experience with test equipment for cell and/or battery testing (cyclers, environmental chambers, DAQs) or comparable experience with electrical test equipment.
• Hands-on experience with cell and/or battery or vehicle testing or comparable experience in aviation, or power electronics.
• Assumption of responsibilities under dangerous goods law/ordinance; particularly but not limited to packaging and vehicle loading.
