Your Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a central risk management framework for the CCUS business unit covering the entire value chain.
2. Translate risk analysis into pragmatic and project-oriented processes and contractual frameworks covering technical, commercial as well as regulatory risks.
3. Support and advise our project teams in the operational identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting of risks by facilitating regular risk workshops and developing project risk registries.
4. Lead the quantitative assessment of project specific risks in the context of financial modelling / commercial project development.
5. Act as a single point of contact for internal risk reporting, work closely with central Group Risk Management and build the interface to other relevant departments.

Your Qualifications

1. University degree in a financial/economic or risk management discipline.
2. Several years of professional experience in risk analysis and management with an excellent understanding of energy economics; CCUS experience beneficial.
3. Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities combined with a proactive playmaker mindset, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to interlink technical, regulatory, commercial, and legal aspects.
4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a positive attitude and ability to motivate project team members.
5. Fluency in written and spoken English essential (C1); German highly desirable.
