DHL Group, in Bonn, collaborates with AIESEC Global Talent to offer a Corporate Procurement Data Analytics internship. You will support GoAnalyse dashboards and procurement reporting while gaining hands-on experience with spend data, master data governance, and data cleansing processes.

The six-month internship (with possible extension) targets students in Finance, Accounting or Economics and requires strong Excel, Power BI, and data-analysis skills in a global logistics setting.

One needs to be either a bachelor graduate not more than 2 months before the internship start date or needs to maintain a Master's student status throughout the internship period. Second Master's, current Bachelor's students and Bachelor's graduates more than two months are not allowed to apply!

The Corporate Procurement – Digitalization & Data Analytics team is deeply involved in 3 main areas of the Global Procurement Business for DHL Group.

Responsibilities

The main function of the Data Analytics team is to deliver Dashboards and reports related to spend, risk management, savings and sourcing for the DHL Group. Spend Management is responsible for organizing the input of spending data from different Finance systems around the world, and works in the cleansing of this data through classification and grouping processes. Finally, Master Data Governance means having a standard process for the maintenance of key procurement information, especially supplier master data. GoAnalyse is the central Procurement reporting based on Microsoft Power BI, which is a state-of-the-art Business Intelligence tool where procurement managers can work with any reports or dashboards needed to analyze data.

The intern will provide support and gain knowledge in these 3 main areas described here. Also, there will be opportunities to work with new projects focused on the automation and digitalization of various procurement reporting processes, touching data analytics topics such as machine learning and big data.

• Help with different tasks for the GoAnalyse activities, from data checks and modeling to the communication and implementation process of new dashboards and reports.
• Support of GoAnalyse moving the application to the cloud
• Provide support in the definition and creation of global procurement reports, based on business requirements.
• Actively work on the main tasks of the Spend Management Team, providing the correct classification and supplier group for the new spend data coming from different countries and business units.
