Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up to ensure compliance.

Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training. Ensure a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally, answer phones appropriately, develop positive relationships, and support team goals. Adhere to quality standards. Verify information visually, inspect tools and equipment, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects up to 25 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

At least 1 year of related work experience.

No supervisory experience required.

No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
