POSITION SUMMARY

Meet with the group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine setup, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements. Follow up to ensure compliance.

Follow all company safety, security policies, and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Greet guests according to standards, anticipate their needs, and thank them sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally, answer phones appropriately, develop positive relationships, and support team goals. Ensure quality standards are met and verify information visually. Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 25 pounds, navigating confined spaces, and reaching overhead or below the knees. Perform other duties as assigned.
