Your Responsibilities

  • Management of our categories and permanent developing of our supplier and risk management
  • Developing strategies in alignment with our corporate brand and sister brands.
  • Executing and coordinating of sourcing projects, including fact base gathering, defining a sourcing approach, tendering products, negotiating with suppliers, aligning of decisions, ensuring professional preparation, and finalization of project contracts with regard to time, cost and quality
  • Insuring a rigorous application of the negotiated contract and a return of experience
  • Assessing processes and spend in scope and develop optimization opportunities
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement category related savings and process improvement opportunities
  • Coordinating and driving of activities performed by Technical Procurement
  • Application of company policies & processes including the agreed Sourcing Management methodology and approach to deliver robust terms and conditions

Your Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Maritime Engineering or in SCM (Masters degree is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SCM/ Procurement applying 7-steps methodology preferably within the maritime industry
  • Experience in conducting price negotiations & drafting contracts as well as in project and supplier management
  • Technical understanding and excellent analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience working with multiple partners to resolve exceptions and negotiate best alternatives
  • Fluent English, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, good knowledge about maritime purchasing software
  • Confident demeanor, autonomous working and teamwork capabilities, strong ability to communicate and high degree of result orientation
