Responsibility :

  • Category Management : Lead purchasing and sales activities for the FMCG category, which may include one or more of the following : Beauty, Personal Care, Health & Wellness, Food & Beverages, Household & Laundry, Pets, Toys, or Baby products.
  • Performance Ownership : Drive gross profit margin (GPM) and gross merchandise value (GMV) for assigned categories. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Sales Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.
  • Procurement Negotiations : Identify and engage with potential partners, manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and cost efficiencies, validate fees, and ensure accurate data maintenance.
  • Product Selection : Curate and select category-specific products that align with consumer demand and usage scenarios.
  • Resource Coordination : Collaborate with international supply chain teams to secure necessary resources and support.
  • Data-Driven Optimization : Analyze sales and procurement data to identify trends, propose improvements, and enhance gross profit margins.

Requirements :

  • Experience : At least 8 years of e-commerce experience in FMCG categories.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of FMCG categories with strong market insights and proven purchasing expertise.
  • Network : Established relationships within the FMCG network in France or Germany.
  • Skills : Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking. Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Mindset : Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organizational goals.
