Details about the team

Global Cash, Surveillance & Messaging Operations (GCSMO) employs over 1,000 staff globally. The team delivers a multitude of payment services for clients across all business and infrastructure areas of Deutsche Bank in all common currencies.

EMEA Cash, Surveillance & Messaging Operations, with Germany as its Euro-Clearing Hub, processes up to 50 million payments daily, totaling over 500 billion EUR in value. This volume makes Deutsche Bank the #1 Euro-Clearer worldwide. Our services include FX payments, cheque processing, electronic conversion and routing of payment instructions, liquidity management, and the provision of commodities and foreign currencies.

Our goal is to maintain and expand this leading position. Clients worldwide—individuals, small and large corporates, and financial institutions—trust our expertise and the quality of our services. By collaborating globally within the bank, we develop integrated, sustainable solutions. We are creating a Center of Excellence for the Corporate Bank at the Berlin Campus to consolidate expertise and processes in a multicultural environment.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Timely and accurate processing of all types of payments for internal and external clients.
  2. Releasing high-value transactions under 4-eye control following the bank's authority levels.
  3. Responding to payment-related inquiries from clients and third-party banks before and after execution, providing solutions in coordination with internal departments or other Cash Operations units abroad.
  4. Collaborating closely with global and regional Cash Management Operations, Implementation, Sales, Product Management, and service teams in an international setting.
  5. Monitoring important and time-critical transactions (high care payments).

Your skills and experience

  • Apprenticeship in banking or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding of corporate cash management products and international payment methods and instruments (SEPA, domestic, international).
  • Client focus with the ability to balance Deutsche Bank's interests and client needs.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian.
