Job Description:

CAPTAIN and 1st Officer – River Boat - Europe

Salary: Depending on Experience (Net per month + bonus and benefits)

Location: Europe

Accommodation: On board

Rotation basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a role model for the entire crew
• Navigate the vessel in compliance with regulations, timetables, and lock times to avoid delays and incidents
• In case of high or low water, damage, or technical problems, the Captain and Program Director take ownership and inform guests accordingly
• Motivate crew and provide training for internal training programs and other crew members, including safety drills
• Conduct regular ship inspections, including monthly inspections of mooring lines
• Organize dumpsters and drinking water supplies
• Participate in meetings and relevant trainings
• Act as a brand ambassador, engaging in social obligations towards guests (presence in public areas, welcome cocktail, Captain's dinner)

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the EU (valid work permit/passport)
• Boat Master Licence and relevant certifications (e.g., In-Land Navigation, Radar Licence, VHF Radio Communication Licences)
• Experience as a Captain on passenger or non-passenger European River Sailing vessels
• Excellent presentation and grooming
