This role is part of our eBay Inhouse team, where you will be employed by DEPT but embedded within eBay.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Campaign Manager to create and execute customer-facing (CRM) campaigns supporting eBay’s strategic focus categories globally. You will manage launches across all flagship owned channels (email, push notifications, homepage, in-app messaging, etc.) and eBay’s Global Markets.

This role requires adopting a customer-centric approach while working cross-functionally to develop, implement, and track marketing campaigns' performance. The Campaign Manager will support eBay Marketing KPIs and Business Strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Build & launch personalized customer experiences globally for category-specific products and features on eBay through CRM campaigns.
  2. Develop high-quality creative assets (briefs, feedback rounds), collaborating with Creative teams (internal/agencies), Legal, Privacy & Customer Service teams.
  3. Support audience segmentation and targeting efforts in partnership with the Team Lead, Analytics, Database Marketing (DBM), and Product Marketing teams.
  4. Ensure seamless execution & launch of customer-facing campaigns, managing operational execution and collaborating with Campaign Planning & Operations Teams.
  5. Own campaign reporting, including data collection and insights provision to inform scaling decisions for tests.
  6. Manage project timelines, track campaign development, and keep stakeholders informed.
  7. Support an innovate-and-iterate mindset, designing A/B tests and optimizing campaigns based on learnings.
  8. Collaborate across locations and with external partners to deliver campaigns and share results.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  1. 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within CRM and owned channels (emails, onsite, push notifications, in-app messaging, etc).
  2. A university degree in a relevant area is a plus.
  3. Experience or understanding of e-commerce, marketplaces, and online retail marketing is required.
  4. Passion or experience in eBay categories such as Fashion, Collectibles, Trading Cards, or Motors is a significant plus.
  5. Customer-centric and hands-on, with the ability to manage performance against KPIs.
  6. Success in fast-paced, matrixed environments; ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive industry.
  7. Project management skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
  8. Ability to build relationships and collaborate across levels, functions, and locations.
  9. Fluency in German and English is required.
